My mother once became frustrated at my one track mind. She exclaimed, 'you'll find sexism anywhere, if you look that hard!'
Well yes mum (I should have said at the time), that's because it's there. We're inured to gender oppression because we're around it so much. We don't even notice it, sometimes, unless we look, really look . Sometimes we don't want to notice it. Not wanting to notice it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Patriachy: it's boring, oppressive and limits everybody's lives, but luckily also makes a good stimulus for angry, outraged, perpetually disappointed blog posts. That's what you'll find here.
I have articles published and you can find those here too. Increasingly, I write about other topics, including British politics, queer rights and whatever the people giving me a platform are asking for.

So far, I don't have one. That means that you can contribute something of worth, an argument, a joke, some praise (I like this), make a political point, or simply leave abuse under the unoriginal appellation 'Anonymous'. If you are thinking about becoming an 'Anonymous' internet abuse leaver, I'd ask you to first take a step back and reconsider your life. Thanks.
